Definition of High Voltage Fuses:
High voltage current limiting fuses are suitable for AC 50Hz, rated voltage 3.6-12KV systems, and can also be used in conjunction with other electrical appliances (such as switches, contactors, etc.) as overload or short circuit protection for power equipment such as motors, transformers, capacitors, etc.
The product's technical conditions comply with British (BS) standards, German (DIN) standards, and also comply with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, and have passed all performance tests.
Main features:
High breaking capacity: The rated breaking current of the product is 40KA~50KA. Low power loss: Ensure that the product has a lower temperature rise, which is more advantageous when fuses are used in fully enclosed insulation devices. Low arc voltage: During the breaking process, the arc voltage is low, and when used in systems below the rated voltage, the arc voltage will further decrease. This allows 12KV fuses to be used in 12KV or 7.2KV systems without the risk of damaging the system insulation. Small error in characteristic curve: The error in the time current characteristic curve is less than ± 10%, ensuring the reliability of the product. Standardization of specifications: The rated parameters of the product comply with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards R10 and R20 series. There are two types of wiring:
(1) Busbar type, with external dimensions in accordance with British (BS) standards;
(2) Insert type, with external dimensions in accordance with German (DIN) standards;
Moreover, they all comply with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. The busbar type can be directly fastened to the busbar with screws, which has the advantages of small installation volume and reliable contact; The plug-in type is easy to replace and can be operated with electricity.
Can be equipped with an impactor: The tungsten wire in parallel with the melt can melt within a few thousandths of a second at the beginning of the arc, igniting the gunpowder device. The firing pin operated by a trace amount of gunpowder immediately acts and provides a signal with sufficient energy, or causes other electrical appliances to act, or provides interlocking. The output energy of fuse impactors that comply with the British (BS) standard is (1-3) joules, and the output energy of fuse impactors that comply with the German (DIN) standard is (2-5) joules.
Main models:
XRNP/SDLAJ series, S-type, A/B, W-type, F-type, FL series, RN1 type, RN2 type.
At present, Shanghai King-Tech mainly acts as the agent for Eaton's Cooper Xirong medium and high voltage fuses.
The main products are:
(1) High voltage current limiting fuses for transformer protection
Fuses with external dimensions in accordance with West German DIN standards
High voltage current limiting fuse for 40.5kV transformer protection
Fuses that comply with British BS standard external dimensions
High voltage current limiting fuses for backup protection of oil immersed transformers
PRNT1-12/140-1.8 Fuses for overload protection of oil immersed plug-in transformers
(2) High voltage current limiting fuses for motor protection
Fuses that comply with British BS standard external dimensions
Fuses that meet the external dimensions of West German DIN standards
(3) High voltage current limiting fuses for voltage transformer protection
(4) High voltage current limiting fuses for full range protection
Selection of fuse:
Regarding the selection of medium and high voltage fuses, in addition to knowing the rated voltage, rated current, and size, it is also necessary to know the rated maximum breaking current of the fuse and the installation method of the fuse.
Common installation methods include: din insertion, barrel insertion, and nut type.
